Portugal!

The Portugal pictures are now online! Our favorite experience was obviously the Rota Vicentina, on which we wrote a dedicated post. That is bucket list material! Faro, Lagos and Sagres were surprisingly nice, but for us it was all about the surroundings, not the cities themselves. If you are ever in or near Lisbon, Sintra is definitely a must. It’s much nicer and so unique. We don’t really like Lisbon after seeing such a fairytale place like Sintra. Enjoy!

Two beautiful words to describe a magical coastline… The Rota Vicentina is a walking route completed a few years ago that stretches along the coastline of Southwest Portugal. It goes all the way through the “Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina” and is truly something. Yurt sweet yurt…

After spending a week in Portugal we did another Workaway. Our motivation arises not only from the financial advantage but also the distinct experiences we had earlier in Catalonia. This time our host is a Dutch Frisian family of 5 (mother, father and 3 active blonde haired boys). They came all the way from the northern part of Holland, Frisia, to South Portugal. What a journey!
